"Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? ~ Matthew 6:26 (NKJV)
My morning routine starts with a drive somewhere to see the sunrise. It's a special time of prayer, Bible reading, and just marveling at God's creation of a new day. A few days ago, I sat in my truck reading the scripture above and looked up, surprised that I didn't see any birds. (Usually, some pelicans and seagulls are hanging around.) I continued my morning devotion, and as I prepared to leave, I looked out over the water, and this is what I saw . . . (click the box in the bottom right of the video for full screen)
Of course, I had to get out of my truck and enjoy this beautiful scene as that scripture echoed through my soul. Don't you love moments when God seems to be reminding you that He hears, He sees, He's near? I hope your 2022 is full of them!
"The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth." ~ Psalm 145:18
If you haven't seen it on my social media posts, I've partnered with Celebrate Lit for another giveaway. Be sure to enter for a chance to win a spectacular prize of over 50+ books or a $500 Amazon gift card! The promo ends on January 15th.
For 18 months, I've been working with new editors and a new cover designer for a rerelease of Season of Hope. If you read the 2017 release by Clean Reads Publishing, I would like to gift you a copy of this new version. It's the same story but also very different. I've added some new scenes (and rewritten some old ones) that I think are important to the series as a whole. Just email me at jane@sarajanejacobs.com if you'd like to replace your 2017 copy with the 2022 version!
If you haven't read the new Season of Hope yet, you can get a sneak peek of the first four chapters by clicking on the cover below.
You can also enter to win a copy of the ebook!
Thanks for stopping by!
