Hi!

I'm Sara Jane.

(aka just jane)

​

I'm Mom to two, Nonna to five, and roommate to a family of felines.

​

I write clean, contemporary romance.

​

Here's a little history of how I became a writer: 

 

When I was a little girl, playing "let's pretend" and reading books were two of my favorite things to do. As I grew older, those two things meshed into a love for acting which would lead me to explore the world of stage production. It wasn't until after I graduated from high school that I discovered my passion for writing.

​

I eventually fell in love, got married, had children,

and embraced the Mom Life. 

​

But . . . I still loved writing.

So, I wrote as a hobby.

​

Fast forward to 2016 when I decided to submit my hobby to a publisher. The original manuscript, Season of Deception, exceeded the word count guidelines so I turned it into two stories, and Season of Hope was born. In 2017, both books were published by Clean Reads Publishing.

​

Now for some random facts:

​

I was born in North Carolina.

​

My family moved to Pensacola, Florida on my fifth birthday.

​

I moved away from Pensacola in 1988 and moved back to stay in 2010. It was my last stop in Kirkland, Washington that made me realize how much I love living somewhere with lots of sunshine!

​

In 2019, I sold my house and moved into a twenty-eight-foot travel trailer. I don't travel in it (yet). It's just my tiny home.

 

I'm a certified health coach through the

Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

​

I've always had this lingering desire to live in Franklin, North Carolina.

It was my dad's hometown and it's where we spent our

summer vacations. 

​

But . . .

Florida.

Sunshine.

The beach.

Hot and humid.

It's what I love.

​

I met Steven Curtis Chapman in a tiny bookstore back in1988. I have a picture of him holding my newborn son.

Twenty-something years later, my son and my daughter-in-law met him.

They have a picture of him holding their newborn son.
